Hello and welcome back to my blog!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For today’s card project, I was inspired by the amazing Jennifer McGuire<\/span><\/span><\/strong> who recently posted a wonderful video showcasing easel cards (check out her video here<\/span><\/span><\/strong>). I wanted to give it a try and it is really as easy as she said it would be! Thank you, Jennifer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I started with a piece of 110# Neenah Solar White Cardstock cut in half lengthwise (11″ x 4 1\/4″). I scored this at 5 1\/2″ creating a standard top folding A2 Card. Then I scored it again at 2 3\/4″ which created a fold right across the middle of the card front. That is all it takes to make an easel card! Now I got started on my card front that will stand up on the “easel”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I used my big shot and an American Crafts embossing folder to create a textured background panel, then I cut it out using a Stitched Rectangle Die. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I stamped some flowers and leaves using the Delicate Primrose layering stamp set from Altenew. After stamping all my layers, I fussy cut each image out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
