Today I am thrilled to be playing along with the Altenew Blog Hop<\/a> for their amazing April release. If this is your first visit to my blog, WELCOME! Altenew has just released a gorgeous group of products – stamps, dies, stencils, embossing folders & more – and we are celebrating with a Blog Hop! So let’s dive in to the projects I created:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inked Stripes – Bouquet of Love<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For my first project I used an emboss resist technique with the stunning Bouquet of Love stamp set<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I started by stamping the main image in Versamark ink and then heat embossing it with white powder. Then I masked off stripes with low tack tape and blended various shades of pink, peach, and yellow inks to cover the entire panel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I stamped and embossed the sentiment in gold and mounted both onto coordinating cardstock. A few sequins and crystal drops finish off the card. There is a supply list for this project at the end of this blog post if you are interested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
